Mila Djindjic, the mother of assassinated Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, attends 10 June 2004 in Belgrade the trial of former special police commander Milorad Lukovic-Legija, the alleged mastermind of the assassination. Lukovic, who is charged with orchestrating the March 2003 sniper attack on Djindjic, refused to enter a plea, claiming what he had to tell the court could influence this weekend's presidential elections. Mila Đinđić, majka nekadašnjeg premijera Srbije Zorana Đinđića, umrla je noćas u 84. godini na Vojnomedicinskoj akademiji, pišu “Večernje novosti”.

Živela je u selu Prekopuce kod Prokuplja, a od 2013. godine je bila smeštena u Domu za stara lica u Jajincima.

Posle ubistva sina dobila je stalnu policijsku pratnju.

Mila Đinđić je u retkim medijskim pojavljivanjima govorila da se prava istina o ubistvu njenog sina nikada neće saznati.
